Adil Fatakia
MD, MBA, CMOAdil Fatakia, MD, MBA, CMO, oversees the effective management of patient care in all of Tandem’s clinics in addition to being Principal Investigator and Sub-Investigator on more than 150+ gastrointestinal trials. A native of New Orleans, he realized the “niche” of fatty liver disease studies in Louisiana and the treatment it lacked. Dr. Fatakia is Tandem’s best recruitment specialist, growing the networking database with new physicians and trial participants daily. He earned his medical and business degrees from Tulane University. He is certified in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery by the American Board of Otolaryngology.
Gary Reiss
MD, MBA, MPH, Medical DirectorGary Reiss, MD, MBA, MPH, Medical Director, is a board-certified gastroenterologist and a member of several GI societies, including the American College of Gastroenterology. He is well-published in a variety of professional journals and has been featured in the “Best Doctors” issue of New Orleans Magazine. Dr. Reiss holds the position of Medical Director in addition to serving as Principal Investigator and Sub-Investigator on a number of studies. He has performed more than 1,500+ liver biopsies and has also contributed to the enrollment of 250+ NASH/NALFD participants from his private practice’s database.
Angela Traylor
MDDr. Angela Traylor brings extensive neurology and psychiatry experience together at Tandem Clinical Research. As a board-certified Principal Investigator, she is responsible for the clinical research activities at the Marrero and Metairie. Dr. Traylor has served as Principal Investigator and Sub-Investigator on a number of neurology and mental health studies. She is also a consultant for the NFL.

Tandem Clinical Research’s Marrero clinic is easily accessible for residents by car, taxi, or bus. When you come for your appointments, you are able to park in the parking lot by the main entrance of the clinic.
